Kiril Stamenkov

Kiril is a dedicated performer, writer and aspiring director- born and raised in Macedonia. Upon moving to Australia in 2010, he found his passion for performance and screen acting. He has attended classes in Mooregrace Acting Studio in Geelong, and later attained a diploma in Film and TV Production from JMC Academy (2017).

Kiril’s journey with Western Edge began as a participant in its Geelong Edge (2014). Having connected with its people and program, Kiril has performed in multiple Western Edge productions, including FORBIDDEN (2014), SHEHEREZADE (2015), ANTIGONE (2018), SHAREHOUSE (2018), THE BOSS OF BAKERSFIELD (2023) and ALL THAT GLITTERS (2024). Kiril now continues to share his love for community and theatre as a Western Edge Support Artist.

As a professional actor, he is a proud graduate of Western Edge’s advanced acting program Collective in Training (2024). His recent credits include Mucky Puppy Theatre’s promenade production of DNA (2024) set in Binnak Park and THE FIELD OF FORGOTTEN DREAMS as part of La Mama’s Festival of Mother Tongues 2024.
