MOSAIC: The Thrive Anthology

A kaleidoscope of stories – from an ensemble that refuses to be one thing.

MOSAIC is exactly what it sounds like – a vivid patchwork of perspectives on “thriving” – funny, abstract, eclectic, electric, and heartfelt.

From a small-town girl in the big city, to aliens searching for connection, to a lost cat finding a home, every scene shines on its own… but together, they make something memorable.

Inspired by the real and motivated by the imagined, MOSAIC delivers the deeply personal to the wildly absurd. This work celebrates what it means to belong, to resist, to laugh, and to survive.

This hive of exciting young artists from all corners of Western Edge, produce theatre that’s loud, proud, and impossible to forget.

Come for the ride – stay for the joy, courage, bite, and beauty. This is MOSAIC: The Thrive Anthology – made by many, meant for all.

ABOUT EDGE ENSEMBLES

Each year, Western Edge works with young people and artists (aged 13-30) in Wyndham, Brimbank and Maribyrnong to create an original Australian work to be performed in venues across the West. The performance outcome is a chance for community members and wider audiences to witness the ideas, concerns and visions of the next generation of artists coming out of Melbourne’s West.
