Community Youth Theatre Projects

Our community youth theatre projects run weekly in Footscray, St Albans, North Geelong and Wyndham, and are designed for youth aged 14 -25.

Meet other young people from different backgrounds, get involved in fun theatre processes and improvisations, build your confidence, share stories and devise your own theatre performance.  More information

Lead Artists

WEYA employs passionate and experienced Lead Artists to work on our In-School Residencies and Community Youth Theatre Projects.

If you are interested in making a difference in the community and being a part of our dedicated team of staff, please email your CV to our CEO, Sally.

Volunteers

If you’re interested in supporting WEYA’s programs and events, we would love to hear from you. Here are some areas we need help with:

  1. Event Coordination – including front of house, ticketing, surveying and organising food (note: most events occur between August – December)
  2. Videography – rehearsals and shows
  3. Photography – workshops

If you have time and skills that can support our team, please feel free to reach out by sending your CV and contact details to our Marketing and Admin Coordinator, Gaya.

Donate

Our in-school and community youth theatre projects give hundreds of youth access to engage with the performing arts each year.

As a tiny organisation doing big things, even a small contribution goes a long, long way.
