Community Youth Theatre Projects

Take the first step into the world of youth-led theatre.

Our CYT projects are designed for young people, aged 13 to 25, who want to be part of an inclusive creative community.

They are a fun way to meet like-minded people, talk about the issues you care about in your community, and most importantly, gain the confidence to be yourself. In this safe environment you can explore the wonderful world of theatre making and find your own artistic expression along the way. More information

If you’re interested in supporting WEYA’s programs and events, we would love to hear from you. Here are some areas we need help with:

  1. Event Coordination – including front of house, ticketing, surveying and organising food (note: most events occur between August – December)
  2. Videography – rehearsals and shows
  3. Photography – workshops

If you have time and skills that can support our team, please feel free to reach out by sending your CV and contact details to our Marketing and Admin Coordinator, Gaya.

Our in-school and community youth theatre projects give hundreds of youth access to engage with the performing arts each year.

As a tiny organisation doing big things, even a small contribution goes a long, long way.
