Free Workshops

There are heaps of ways to step into the world of youth-led theatre, by becoming a member of one of our active youth theatre ensembles. You might already have a passion for theatre, or maybe you’re not sure and you just want to try it out. Read on to find out how you can get involved.

  • St Albans Edge

    Free weekly workshops NOW in St Albans.

    Develop theatre skills, build your self confidence, meet new people and take part in creating amazing performances in your community.

    Led by professional theatre directors and skilled young local artists.

  • Wyndham Edge

    A new theatre group for ages 16+ living in the Werribee area.  The ensemble makes high quality art that explores what it means to be young. Devise, write and perform in amazing contemporary performances.

    It’s all done through a fun and structured creative process of weekly workshops with other emerging artists and mentors. Step into leadership roles and share in the decision-making. Find a place for yourself and a way to tackle the big issues in your community.

  • Phoenix Edge

    A theatre group for young people aged 16 to 25 who live in the Maribyrnong region. The ensemble makes high quality art that explores what it means to be young. Devise, write and perform in amazing contemporary performances. Play with different art forms and new media.

    It’s all done through a fun and structured creative process of weekly workshops with other emerging artists and mentors. Step into leadership roles and share in the decision-making. Find a place for yourself and a way to tackle the big issues in your community.
